CHEYENNE — There are many tell-tale signs that the holidays are upon those in the capital city, and the minute the lights go up on trees and houses around town, we know it’s time.

Especially in Cheyenne with the Conservatory of Lights and Holiday Trolley Light Tour, the night skies are never too dark for too long.

With the Holiday Trolley Light Tour, dozens of families volunteer their homes as stops on the trip every year.

The Walter family is one of 27 families participating this year, and they don’t mess around when it comes to their Christmas decorating. The house is owned by Paula Walter, but her grandkids, Justin, Jordan and Michael, do most of the decorating.
