The Carlton Casino is located on the western side, between Henry Street and the Parnell Monument. Named after the original Carlton Cinema, which opened here in 1915, it is decked out with an abundance of Christmas lights and decorations. It is so visually striking that some passers-by stop to take selfies in front of it.
