On Saturday at 2:27 a.m. the National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory valid from 10 p.m. until Sunday 1 p.m. for Southern Westchester.
The weather service states to prepare for, "Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches."
"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous," explains the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling. Check local Department of Transportation information services for the latest road conditions."
