KANNUR: Former MLA and senior CPI leader M V Jayarajan said the election result in Kerala was unexpected. He also said that it is necessary to closely examine why the LDF suffered a setback in Kerala. M V Jayarajan was reacting to the release of the local body election results.

"The LDF's activities will be shaped by understanding the will of the people in the future. If we look at it in general, the result is unexpected. Not many would have expected such a turn of tides.
