The Met Office has issued a warning that snow could fall across parts of the UK in just days, with one specific area most likely to be affected.

In its long-range forecast for the 15 days from Saturday, December 27, to Saturday January 10, the forecaster stated: "Spells of rain and strong winds remain possible, these most likely in the north with a risk of some snow at times. Temperatures are expected to be close to normal overall."
