Strictly Come Dancing chiefs have reportedly compiled a shortlist of 10 famous faces to replace Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman as presenters.

The pair made the shock announcement they were stepping down after this series ends in October.

The final on Saturday, December 20 will be their last show after years presenting together.

Claudia, 53, first took on the co-hosting duties in 2010 while Tess , 56, has presented the show since its start in 2004.

Numerous celebrities have been linked with the prestigious roles, with potential candidates reportedly undergoing a series of partner-swap chemistry assessments.

Three stars are now believed to be leading the race to replace Tess and Claudia - Bradley Walsh, Alex Jones and Alan Carr.
