A new series 12 restaurant license is being sought for Taroko Sports, a Mesa restaurant that serves lunch and dinner.

The Mesa City Council at a meeting Nov. 17 voted 6-0 with Councilmember Francisco Heredia absent to make a recommendation to the Arizona Department of Liquor License and Control for the approval of the license for Taroko US Cor., 1738 W. Rio Salado Parkway.

There is no existing license at this location.
