BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. — People driving in Blount County might have seen billboards reading, "Be Their Voice," alongside the roadways.

The billboards, along with television and radio commercials and social media posts, are all part of New Hope Blount County Children's Advocacy Center's latest public awareness campaign, encouraging adults in the area to report any suspected child abuse to authorities.

Philanthropist Amy Buckner Chowdhry donated $100,000 to the agency to be used for the campaign.

New Hope's Chief Executive Officer Ashley Fontenot said that all adults in Tennessee are actually required to report any suspected abuse, and are considered mandated reporters.
