TULLOS, La. ( KALB /Gray News) - Authorities in Louisiana say a man in the country illegally is facing charges for assaulting a law enforcement officer following an arrest in Tullos.
According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security , Maximiliano Perez-Perez attempted to escape officers during his arrest, leading to him biting an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer.
DHS noted that Perez had entered the U.S. at an unknown date and time and without being inspected or paroled by an immigration officer.
