1CINNAMINSON, N.J. – With several inches of snow expected to fall across the region this weekend, Cinnaminson Township Police are reminding residents of local snow ordinances that could lead to towing or fines if ignored.
The department issued a statement Saturday emphasizing that vehicles blocking plow routes may be towed at the owner’s expense.
Police said the reminder comes as the township prepares for what could be the first major snow event of the season.
Parking restrictions during snow emergencies
Under township ordinance § 2-9, a snow emergency is declared whenever snow accumulation covers the streets or highways, prohibiting parking until plows have cleared the roadways. Vehicles left in the street during that time are considered a hazard and may be removed by police to allow
