ELKHART, Ind. (WNDU) - One of the two people injured in a hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle on July 10 in Elkhart died.

Police say 31-year-old Caleb Watson passed away on July 11, after suffering severe injuries in the crash last night.

Watson was the driver of the motorcycle.

His passenger, a 25-year-old woman, also suffered serious injuries but officials say they are not life-threatening.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. on July 10, near the intersection of County Road 6 West and John Weaver Parkway.

The other vehicle involved in the crash reportedly drove away from the scene. Police say that vehicle was a Jeep Liberty, and they have located it.
