LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Lexington police are searching for a suspect after a robbery at a Chase Bank on Saturday afternoon.

Officers were dispatched around 12:15 p.m. to the bank in the 1800 block of Alysheba Way. Police say a masked man entered the branch and handed a teller a note demanding money. The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash before officers arrived.

Investigators describe the suspect as a Black man, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, wearing a black hoodie and black pants. His face was covered during the robbery.

No injuries were reported.
