Four years ago, Pitt and Purdue volleyball met in the Elite Eight. The Panthers won that match sending them to their first ever Final Four. On Saturday, the two teams met for a rematch. It’s two wildly different teams, but ended in the same result — a Pitt win. And this time, it’s the Panthers fifth-straight national semifinal.

It wasn’t easy. The Boilermakers forced a fourth set, a first for Pitt during this NCAA tournament run. But the Panthers came out on top, 3-1 (25-22, 25-21, 22-25, 25-17) earning them another trip to the Final Four.
