ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -The St. Louis alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. hosted its annual “Breakfast with Santa” at Carr Lane VPA Middle School on Saturday.

The event provided a hot breakfast and a toy that kids were able to choose from to help start the holiday season.

“This year in particular, there’s so many people that are unemployed, people who were released from work that work for the government, there’s just a lot of need in the community. We had the tornadoes, so many different things that have played into this year’s need for an event like this,” said Shelia Jones, a member of the St. Louis alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
