Dylan Edwards contributed one goal and one assist, while goaltender Noah Erliden provided 29 saves, including one against a penalty shot. Erie, which fell 8-4 Thursday night to the visiting Brantford Bulldogs, has a won-lost-extended record of 12-18-2 for 26 points, fifth in the Midwest Division. Kent Greer scored while the Battalion was two men short, and goaltender Mike McIvor stopped 30 of 32 shots as the Troops opened a two-game road trip at the Erie Insurance Arena.
