John Cena concluded his illustrious career during “Saturday Night’s Main Event” in Washington, DC. The 17-time world champion lost to Gunther in a thrilling back-and-forth match via submission, closing the books on his historic run in the squared circle.

After the loss, Cena addressed the Washington crowd and the fans watching on live television. Before the broadcast ended, Cena looked at the camera and said, “It’s been a pleasure serving you all these years, thank you.”
