Following their run to the World Series, the Toronto Blue Jays have been quite aggressive in the free agent market this winter. They acquired Dylan Cease on a seven-year, $210 million contract last month and also added Cody Ponce to their starting rotation on a three-year, $30 million deal. Bo Bichette departed for free agency, and bringing him back is perhaps the primary objective of their offseason. Nevertheless, Toronto is considering several routes for its infield options heading into 2026.
MLB Network insider J.P. Morosi reported that the Blue Jays are considering a move for Japanese free agent Munetaka Murakami. The Yakult Swallows posted the third baseman this year, but his signing period expires at 5 p.m. ET on December 22nd.
