OMAHA, Neb. —
Omaha firefighters battled a massive trash fire in west Omaha.
The incident happened on Saturday in the area of 182nd Street and Capitol Avenue when a fire started in a garbage truck.
The Omaha Fire Department said the sanitation worker's quick thinking to dump the trash into an empty parking lot saved them from the flames.
OFD has not said what caused the fire.
