A person who won a staggering £40,000 in an online competition has been left worried by the response from Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ).
Taking to Reddit, a family member asked for advice after the winner was asked for bank statements and an interview.
It came after they bagged the cash in a competition last Sunday.

Following the win, the notified DWP as they are a recipient of universal credit (UC).
However, they were still told that they needed to provide bank statements as a follow-up.
