At 1:40 a.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid from noon until Monday 7 a.m. for Cayuga County.
The weather service adds to be ready for, "Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches."
"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute," comments the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1."
