Overlooking method

There has been a continuing controversy about capital punishment and the means of execution both here in Arkansas and across the country. Some years ago, the preferred method was by lethal injection. That had its problems when chemical companies refused to sell their products for that purpose. Now we have nitrogen hypoxia, recently passed into law here in Arkansas, although some say it causes the condemned to suffer.

Methods vary from state to state and include the two previously mentioned, plus electrocution, hanging and even firing squads.
