A Darlington community has been left feeling “frightened” after repeated incidents of raw meat being dumped around the Whinfield neighbourhood.
Large quantities of meat have been discovered on several occasions in and around the community garden between Caithness Road and Annandale, prompting growing concern among residents and councillors.
Councillor Jake Bartch said members had been raising complaints for more than a year after multiple piles of meat - including what he described as “nearly a whole pig” were found strewn across the area.
