COLUMBIA — “Tempo” is usually the first word. Then “prolific,” “innovative,” followed by “explosive,” “aggressive.”

South Carolina loves to hear all of them, especially after a 2025 season that saw its offense finish 15th in the SEC and 106th (out of 134) in the country. Most of all, the Gamecocks cherish the other word attached to a Kendal Briles offense.

“Productive.”
