President Droupadi Murmu on Sunday presented the National Energy Conservation Awards 2025 and prizes of the National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation in New Delhi on the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day.

Addressing the gathering, the President said that energy conservation is the most environmentally friendly and reliable source of energy, stressing that it is no longer an option but a critical necessity of the present time. She underlined that conserving energy does not merely mean using less, but using it wisely, responsibly and efficiently.
