Oxford County has disclosed several programs and services targeted in a September cyberattack that also potentially compromised the personal information of about 4,000 current and former employees.

In a Friday news release, Oxford County officials said staff had been conducting a comprehensive review of “current and archived files and records to determine who was impacted and what types of personal information was accessed” in a cybersecurity incident detected on Sept. 10.

“Oxford County is advising the public that personal and private information collected by some programs and services was compromised,” the county said.
