Delhi schools will not remain fully closed on December 15. Instead, the Delhi government has directed schools to function in hybrid mode due to worsening air pollution levels in the national capital.
Delhi Schools to Operate in Hybrid Mode
The Directorate of Education (DoE) has instructed schools to immediately shift to hybrid classes for students of Classes 1 to 9 and Class 11. The move aims to reduce children’s exposure to hazardous air while maintaining academic continuity.
This directive applies to government schools, private schools, government-aid schools, school runs under MCD and NDMC and also Delhi Cantonment Board.
