(KFVS) - Extremely cold temperatures start off the morning, and not much relief is in sight today.
Temperatures start out in the single digits or low teens in many areas, but wind chills can drop to about 12 below zero in some areas, prompting a Cold Weather Advisory until this afternoon.
Winds can gust up to 25 mph this afternoon.
Temperatures reach the upper teens and low 20s today, but wind chills stay in the single digits for most of the area.
Tomorrow, lows stay very cold in the single digits and low teens, but wind chills are more in line with the temperature.
Highs on Monday are in the mid 30s, reaching above freezing.
A gradual warm up continues through the week, with highs reaching the upper 50s by Thursday.
