BELLE VERNON, Pa. —
A western Pennsylvania elementary school announced it will have an increased police presence on Monday following multiple reports regarding a "potential threat."
Belle Vernon Area School District Superintendent Timothy Glasspool said in a letter Saturday that there will be an increased police presence at Rostraver Elementary School. Advertisement
"We received multiple Safe2Say Something reports regarding a potential threat," the letter said. "The threats were made on a social media platform and/or large group chat after the school day."
The school said Rostraver Township police are investigating all the information that has been provided to them.
