CHICAGO — Former Utah cornerback Jaylon Johnson grabbed his first interception of the season against Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns in week 15 on Sunday.
Due to a groin injury and surgery earlier in the season, Johnson has played just four games in 2025.
Johnson’s last pick came about 15 months ago, in week three against the Colts last season.
In the matchup against the Browns, it was a struggle for the rookie QB. He ended with three interceptions. Johnson’s might have been the biggest, as he basically stole a touchdown reception from the receiver on the goal line.
Chicago went on to win, 31-3.
In his limited appearances this season, Johnson has five total tackles and has allowed six receptions on ten targets with one pass breakup.
