The Southern University Human Jukebox was named the 2025 ESPN Band of the Year.

The ESPN Band of the Year national championship was held on Dec. 12 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Advertisement

The Human Jukebox competed against other HBCU bands, including the Florida A&M Marching 100, Miles College’s Purple Marching Machine, and Fayetteville State University’s Marching Bronco Xpress.
