LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An arrest has been made in connection to a Heritage Creek shooting that took place Saturday night.

Tracy Carter, 45, was arrested for shooting her boyfriend in the arm.

When the incident occurred, Louisville Metro Police officers responded to reports of a shooting just before 11 p.m. in the 8700 block of Warbler Branch Way. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the arm. The man suffered non-life threatening injuries.

According to Carter's arrest citation, the victim had gotten into a verbal altercation with Carter when he was leaving. Carter began hitting the windshield of the man's car, due to snow the man could not leave.
