A one-year-old toddler was killed, while his four-year-old sister sustained injuries after a fire broke out inside their house in East Delhi’s Rajeev Camp in Jhilmil Colony on Saturday, police said. The fire was allegedly caused by a short circuit.
The police received a call from Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital Saturday and were informed that two children were brought to the hospital with burn injuries. Teams were dispatched to the location.
“The children were identified as Pari and Ansh. According to the medical reports, both had sustained burn injuries,” a senior officer said.
