TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two men are accused of committing an armed robbery in Taylorsville, sheriffs say.

On August 12, around 4:47 p.m., the Alexander County 911 Center received a report of a possible armed robbery on Gravel Hill Court. The victims provided officers with a description of the suspect vehicle.

Deputies and officers from the Taylorsville Police Department quickly located the vehicle on Polk Street.

Following a prompt investigation, law enforcement arrested two suspects.
