ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A Taylorsville man is facing charges after reportedly throwing a large rock at a sheriff’s patrol vehicle during a domestic disturbance call.
According to the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a possible domestic situation along Eastfield Lane around Tuesday, August 12.
When they arrived, Brock Anthony Rennicker, 40, allegedly threw a large rock at a marked patrol Dodge Durango, hitting the rear side window and causing significant damage.
Rennicker ran from the scene before deputies could arrest him, but he was located and taken into custody the next day, the sheriff’s office said.
