CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Five teenagers between the ages of 13 and 15 years old are facing charges for robbing a business, according to Charlotte Mecklenburg Police.
On July 30, police say six teenagers assaulted an employee and stole items from a cannabis dispensary on East Third Street. The juveniles were seen then getting on the light rail headed towards the transit center.
Using the Real Time Crime Center, officers, K9 and Professional Police Services found five of the six teenagers. Officers say they recovered the stolen items as well as an airsoft pistol the teens tossed when running from the business.
The five teenagers are all charged with Common Law Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Common Law Robbery and Resist, Delay, Obstruct.
