WAILUKU (Island News) -- Tributes and remembrances continue for fallen Maui Police Officer Suzanne O.

Fellow officers (approx. 100), stood in solidarity with Officer O and her family by packing a courtroom while her accused killer faced a judge for the first time.

The man accused of killing O, Clembert Alii Kaneholani, 38, was arrested Friday and is charged with multiple offenses, including first-degree murder for the shooting death in Paia.

According to police, officers had responded to an in-progress terroristic threatening incident off Baldwin Avenue when O was shot.

Family member Shen O recently stated, "We're still in shock, feels like it's a dream, something we wish never happened - this is her passion."
