Boil advisory issued for dozens of people living in Henderson Co.

HENDERSON CO., Ky. (WFIE) - A small portion of Henderson County is currently under a boil advisory.

Emergency Management officials say the advisory is in effect for those who live off Highway 1078 between Highway 60 E. and Ridgewood Road.

Officials estimate around 40 people are impacted because of this.

According to EMA officials, the advisory is in response to an issue contractors came across with a water main along Highway 1078.
