HONOLULU (Island News) – The Honolulu Police Department and the State Sheriff Division are investigating after a work furlough inmate was reported missing on Monday night, Aug. 18, 2025.

Breanna Leong-Bulatao, 34, was reported missing after she failed to return to the Women’s Community Correctional Center (WCCC) at 9 p.m. on Monday.

Leong-Bulatao is described as 5’7” tall, approximately 127 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is currently serving time for promoting a dangerous drug in the third degree.

She now faces a second-degree escape charge, a Class C felony that is punishable by up to five years in prison, if convicted.

Leong-Bulatao is a community custody inmate in the work furlough program with pass privileges.
