CYPRESS HILL, Brooklyn (PIX11) — Police have released photos of jewelry found with human remains discovered near a cemetery off the Jackie Robinson Parkway in Brooklyn earlier this month.

The skeletal human remains were found in a trash bag on Aug. 3 around 10:30 a.m. by a Department of Transportation worker who was mowing the cemetery lawn near exit 1 westbound, according to the NYPD and sources.

Police believe the body was a female, approximately 20-30 years old, and stood anywhere between 4 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 2 inches tall. She had dark brown curly hair with bleached ends and a rose tattoo on her left buttocks, according to police.

Police are asking for public assistance in identifying the individual's belongings and tattoo.
