MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A man is facing multiple charges after a shooting left a man seriously hurt in Montgomery County last month.
Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said the charges against 35-year-old Joseph Gordon stem from a shooting that broke out around 9:45 a.m. on July 28.
Police were called to the 11400 block of Lockwood Drive, where they found a 40-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm.
MCPD provided life-saving aid and he was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Investigators said they learned Gordon and the man had been involved in an ongoing dispute, eventually leading to the shooting. He was arrested nearly a month later, on Aug. 20, and charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assaul
