Rancho Mirage High School expects big things from all-league safety Noah Hook, a senior who will also be the featured tailback this season. Because of a slightly sprained right ankle, the senior didn’t play in Thursday’s football season opener against Christian (El Cajon), but it might not have mattered anyway.
