BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — As he continues his campaign for the highest political office in Alabama, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville is not hiding his feelings on the rebranding of a popular Southern restaurant chain.
On Wednesday, Cracker Barrel unveiled its new logo, opting to do away with its longtime image of Herschel McCartney, uncle of restaurant founder Dan Evins better known as "Uncle Herschel," wearing overalls and seated next to a barrel, as well as the subtitle "Old Country Store." In the new image, the logo features the same burnt mustard color and the words "Cracker Barrel."
