Richmond Triangle Players has announced a change in its fall programming following the death of Richmond actor Adam Turck .
Turck was set to play the lead role in “Dracula, A Comedy of Terrors,” which was originally scheduled for September. Turck was shot earlier this month after trying to intervene in a confrontation between a 19-year-old man and a woman in Shockoe Bottom.
Richmond Triangle Players announced it will be opening its new season instead with “Conversations with Mother,” a new comedy by Matthew Lombardo.
“It’s been a very difficult few weeks for the Richmond theater community,” RTP artistic director Lucian Restivo said in a release. “We just didn’t feel we could move forward without our planned Dracula, Adam Turck. We will, of course, dedicate this new p
