Washington School District officials are moving full steam ahead with plans to seek voter approval of a bond issue next April, and the scope of the associated projects is coming into focus.
Assistant Superintendent John McColloch provided a progress report at Wednesday’s Board of Education meeting. McColloch said he met on Aug. 8 with representatives from the Kansas City-based architecture firm Hollis & Miller, which the school board selected for design services earlier this year. The firm is reviewing a list of the district’s infrastructure improvement projects outlined in the 2024-2034 long-range facilities plan approved in December. ×
