ASHBURN, Va. — The preseason is all about the Washington Commanders discovering new talent while stretching their known abilities to new heights, and in many ways, this year’s 0-3 effort can still be viewed as a success.

Getting one last crack at impressing his Commanders coaches, undrafted free agent linebacker Ale Kaho out of UCLA took head coach Dan Quinn’s advice to focus on what he can do this week, not what is coming in the next , and he led the team with seven tackles while quarterbacking the defense for most of the preseason finale.

"Just the fact that the coaches have that trust factor in me [to set the defense]. I don't take it lightly,” Kaho told WUSA9 after the preseason finale for Washington. Getting the call and having the responsibility of getting all 11 guys ready
