CHILLICOTHE, Mo - A Chillicothe man is behind bars after threatening to set a house on fire.

According to a probable cause statement, Chillicothe Police responded Friday morning to a report of harassment at a residence in the area of McNally and Springhill streets.

A woman at the residence stated that the day before 54-year-old Phillip Molden had come to the residence, poured gasoline on the front porch and threatened to light it on fire. A security camera video showed Molden with the gas can on the front porch. He then used a knife to deflate a pickup truck's tires on the property before leaving. He was arrested later in the morning and taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
