The University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville is on lockdown after reports of an active shooter near the David W. Mullins Library. Students and employees received an emergency alert around 12:30 p.m. Monday:
Fall classes started just last week at the university. Social media posts showed police on campus rushing towards the library building. Authorities have yet to confirm whether anyone has been shot or injured.
