DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A train conductor attacked with a giant knife and stabbed nearly a dozen times got the news he had been waiting for today.
Transit workers rallied outside the court in Brooklyn as a show of support and to stand up for safety in the system.
Train Operator Myran Pollack walked with friends, family, and his transit coworkers into court in Downtown Brooklyn on Monday morning.
Pollack was viciously attacked with a knife at the Utica Ave. station, an assault which continued as the 33-year veteran of New York City Transit tried to run to safety.
Jonathan Davalos was arrested on the scene after the attack inside the Utica Avenue Subway station in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
In a hearing before a judge, Davalos entered a plea of guilty to a charge of attempted m
