A wave of unsolved break-ins in the Maricopa Meadows neighborhood has unsettled residents and left police searching for answers.
Maricopa police say they’ve responded to a string of vehicle and home burglaries across the Meadows in recent weeks, clustered along just a handful of neighborhood streets. Reports include multiple burglaries and a car theft on Morning View Lane, a burglary on Guilder Avenue, another on Madison Road and two burglaries on Starlight Drive.
“These incidents have understandably caused concern for residents, and MPD is actively investigating each case,” said the city’s public safety spokesperson, Monica Williams. “Because this type of crime can come in waves, we closely monitor the data to adjust patrols where they are most needed.”
