Between two non-district games against Frisco ISD squads and a travel-friendly district schedule, Independence will only have to venture outside the city limits twice in 2025’s regular season.

Since their playoff appearance in 2022, the Knights have finished in sixth place the last two seasons at 2-6, but they shifted from a seven-team district to a nine-team District 4-5A Div. II.
